I’m Jess, and I’m primarily a big fan of carb-based foods, cosy jumpers and small dogs. I’m a freelance journalist specialising in writing features about mental health, bodies, lifestyle, weird science, internet culture, and everything in between. I also write short stories and creative non-fiction.
My work has been featured in publications including VICE, Refinery29, Cosmopolitan, The Telegraph, Bitch Media, Metro UK, MEL Magazine, Delish, and Earther, among others. I was previously the Features Editor at The Oxford Student, where I also worked as a Staff Writer.
I also hold a Biological Sciences degree from the University of Oxford.
